- VPIP / 25% / Probably OK but I think I could raise more often.
- PFR / 13% / Too Low should be about 20%
- AF / 1,4 / Too Low should be above 2
- 3-Bet / 1,6% / Too Low should be at least twice as high
- W$WSF / 44% / Pretty good as there are usually 2 opponents on average
- Steal / 46% / Pretty high but they seldom 3-bet me so if I have a hand I can se the flop in position
- Steal Success / 52% / If it works more than 50% and only get 3-bet about 10% of the times I can still win the pot, I don’t raise with crap unless I have two Nits in the blinds
- Cold Call / 9% / much better than it used to be (30% )
- PFR when tere is 1 limper in front of me / 7% / FAR TOO LOW, I must learn to punish the limpers!
- Call when tere is 1 limper in front of me / 16% / probably good but I should raise more often Flop Raise C-Bet / 20% / I don't know
- bb/100 / +26 / I think it should be higher if I can take advantage of being in position
Conclusions:
- I am still too passive!!
- I don't punish the limpers!!
- I don't 3-Bet!!
- I made 6,5 big blinds/100, overall which is more than 3 Buy Ins. But a good player should make the double on NL25
Any Comments are highly appreciated. Tomorrow I'll start the next block:"Playing much more hands from the CO and play them aggressively, which means knocking out the button and play the hand in position" I must focus on my aggression as well!!! Cheers!
There are easy ways to look deeper at some of these stats and ways to find spots to expand the range.
ReplyDeleteCold calls and opens: look at the frequency of hands you cold call and limp in by position. Filter for position and coldcall=true, then look at the hand distribution chart in HEM, or hands in PT3.
AF by street will show you a lot. A% by street will refine it as well.
3Bets. Again, by position. In the blinds, look at how it fits your strategy. In MP and the cutoff I 3bet marginally (meaning I add AQ and midpairs) vs. loose openers. From the button with JJ+, AQ+, and suited trash hands that you would never cold call. A good group to pick at random are the suited bellybusters with one broadway card. A8s, K7s, Q6s, J5s, T4s. You will make money with them simply by cbetting every flop.
How about cbet frequency? W$SD
Thanks for your advices Kirk!
ReplyDeleteI checked the Cold-Call stats; the sample is s only 7K hands. Never the less, it was an eye opener, I found out that:
I make money when in position (250 bb)
I lost when out of position (70bb)
I play far too passive even in position trying to make them bet worse hands.
Conclusions:
Don't cold call if OOP!
When cold calling in position, be aggressive!
3-Betting, well this is a sad story so far.
I don't 3-bet enough!
I only 3-bet JJ+, AK, AQs in position and out of position it's even worse only AA, KK and AK.
I NEED TO CHANGE THIS AND ADD MORE HANDS IN POS!
I will start with something like AQ and 99+ and 98s if they are loose openers. Trash hands? Well in FR the standard opening hand is much stronger than in 6-max so I'll exclude for the moment, but it's a very interesting approach.
Cheers!
